This accordion book explores the women’s cross-country skiing 10km event through research, data analysis, and information design.
I researched the event’s history, rules, athlete performances, and Olympic results, organizing complex information into a cohesive visual narrative. I translated the data into graphs, diagrams, illustrations, and visual comparisons to highlight patterns and make the information engaging and easy to understand.
I created all illustrations in Procreate, using a soft, watercolor-inspired style to capture the movement and atmosphere of the sport. I paired these illustrations with grayscale imagery to emphasize the bold color palette and create contrast throughout
the book.
This project challenged me to approach design through both analytical and creative thinking, pushing me to develop a visual system that balances detailed research with clear, engaging storytelling.
