The Kids in Wildwood2026
Nashville, TN
2026
This video combines footage filmed by my dad of my sister, our neighborhood friends, and me having a shaving cream fight on the Fourth of July with music from Pearl Jam’s “Yellow Ledbetter.” I edited the footage to capture a nostalgic, vintage feel, reflecting on the simplicity of childhood and growing up in the South. The project is personally meaningful to me, as it brings back memories of a time when life felt carefree and centered around the people and moments closest to home. I carefully paired the music with cuts in the footage to create a rhythm that connects the visuals and sound, turning a personal childhood memory into a short, nostalgic film.
